This page is a dedication to my mentors and those who have supported me throughout my Youth Safe Spend, Count On It, and Independent Learning Experience journey.
Thank you to Mr. Feagin for serving as my ILE mentor and AP Economics teacher at Staples High School, supporting my research, and helping reinforce my interest in economics. I am so grateful for everything I have learned from you and for your guidance in helping this project grow from an idea into meaningful outreach.
I would also like to thank ILE Teacher Ms. Thompson, Guidance Counselor Mr. Washenko, and Assistant Principal Ms. Cincotta for supporting this program.
Thank you to Ally Footit at ASPIRE — Family & Children’s Agency for allowing me to lead this program for ASPIRE students. It has been a privilege to watch these students grow and to learn from you and the classroom educators at ASPIRE. I hope the Count On It program will continue to support these middle schoolers in the future.
Thank you to the Coleytown Middle School administration and sixth-grade teachers for their help in making the Count On It CMS program so successful.
Thank you to all of the students from the Staples Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society who volunteered their time at CMS. It has been amazing to work with all of you, and I look forward to seeing the future projects the society will continue to support.
Finally, thank you to local journalist Dan Woog for featuring my programming and recognizing its value. I encourage everyone to check out his blog.
